‘Alone’ nominated at Munich documentary fest

Iranian film ‘Alone’ has been nominated at the Munich International Documentary Film Festival in Germany.

The 38th edition of the festival nominated ‘Alone’ by Jafar Najafi for the SOS-Kinderdörfer Weltweit Award.

The film was premiered at the Venice International Film Festival.

The film narrates the story of a 14-year-old teenage boy who faces challenges between modern and traditional life.

According to the official website of the event, the Munich International Documentary Film Festival holds yearly and accepts and screens over 150 works. The selected pieces show people from different walks of life. 

This year’s edition of the event is scheduled for May 3-13, 2023.
